A PROFESSIONAL ORCHESTRA, STUDIOS AND RECORDING FACILITIES: ALL IN ONE PLACE
The Budapest Symphony Orchestra is a professional ensemble formed by members of the Symphony Orchestra of the Hungarian Radio. Apart from its usual orchestral work, it makes CD recordings of classical music, accompaniments of opera and concerto productions as well as of demanding light and film music mainly for foreign but also for Hungarian customers.
In addition to the usual classical music concerts and recordings, the orchestra gladly participates in soundtrack recordings for a refreshing variety and in preparing light music albums.
Most of the recordings are made in studio no. 22, a room with the latest recording facilities situated in the building of the Hungarian Radio.
The studio is equipped with all the instruments composers have demanded to date.
In the technical room a SOLID STATE AXIOM MT PLUS-DIGITAL MULTITRACK CONSOLE, a mixing console as well as a “source connect” protools recording system are available.
